The valley of dry bones

Before I came to America for this tour , I had never really sat down to think what Americans really were–their lifestyle, understanding of life and how that relates to how the view God. I want to join many others to say that Americans are blessed!!!

However, that does not exclude them from the tendency to get caught up in what they do and success. A great success that leaves them forgeting the world out there that Jesus says he loves . Today, I am going to be speaking about AIDS and its effect around the world with middle schoolers in Peachtree city Georgia.

I will like to share a bit of what I would be sharing. God at the end of last year started to lay the story of the dry bones strongly in my heart. he started to share with me what the dry bones look like in my own days. Today every hour 40 kids die of HIV/AIDS. Every 30 seconds a child dies of malaria. Every 26 seconds a child is raped in South Africa. 25000 kids die from lack of nutrition everyday. These and many more are my valley of dry bones. But if I remember well there wasn’t just the valley of dry bones. There was Ezekiel and God. Ezekiel was having a conversation with God. To cut long story short, Ezekiel got the heart of God. His heart to bring life into dead and impossible situations and then he got involved in SPEAKING LIFE into the dry bones as God started to work in his heart.

Together, people around the world could bring the LOVE of Jesus to those who are hurting, dying and are in pain. Together we can bring the BROKEN heart of Jesus to people who are in abundance. Together we could mourn, laugh, celebrate, cry with and leave a mark on this earth just like hour father and friend Jesus has commanded us to do. Together we could become the Ezekiel of our DAY by working with God to bring life to his people.

For any one Next time you go to WAL*MART or any shopping center, don’t feel guilty picking something. But think about someone or a group of people  who don’t have the thing you pick and then pray for him/her or them. Call him/her or them by name and speak life over their situation. If you feel God is laying in your heart to do something, you’ve got all my support and encouragement and even more you have God’s support, encouragement and strength to do the little that might amount to be much more than you’ve ever thought it would be.
